Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a sacred spiritual place built by the Inca civilisation in Peru around the 15th century. It is a world heritage site and one of the seven wonders of the world.

How it was built is still a mystery with stone buildings cut with precision and astronomical alignment that would seem far too advanced for a civilisation of that time.

This place is part of my heritage, and when I visited I felt a deep sense of peace and connection with the land and the native people there. It is also where I learned or started to learn to play guitar.
