It started as a sketch, then I experimented with some different techniques to give it a water colour feel.
I actually painted this especially for my dad. He wanted a picture with Jesus, and although I don't consider myself to be religious, I do like what Jesus symbolizes.
When I look at this picture, I see an almost subtle yet almighty power juxtaposed with kindness and innocence.
For me, it's always fun to try new styles and themes. I really enjoyed creating this one.
